Yesterday my group and i have done the final presentation for our smm group project, i appreciate for what they done in the presentation. i had done my best and had no regret.

Finished presentaiton yesterday it was smooth. Have to thank my group members for the efforts they had put in. We been through aa couple of ups and downs but we manage to pull through.
Through this module i achieved confidence inn my work and the courage to present my research to my class.

IT Trends did considerably well on facebook with a fair amount of 53 likes in the past couple of months. Updates are still going but with some negative feedbacks anyways will find a way to improve and promote the business.

Since we all have decided on using I.T TREND for our social media project .
Later that day i contacted Mr Lek of school of paintball personally and told him of the current status of the project and that we have chosen I.T TREND instead. I thanked him for giving us the opportunity to collaborate with us.

I did not recive response from the company. Earlier i had call the Lucinda Bakery Mart , the staff told me the person in charge is not around. So i called back the company the person in charge answer i told she that i was from singapore polytechnic, i was doing a project regarding social media marketing to promote their product through social media and told she that is totally free of charge for helping them to set up a facebook application. she replied that their company was not interested in this project.

I've sent 2 emails to The Daily Scoop company but they have not replied. Hence, I've called them today and ask if they would want our help. However, when the manager heard that I'm having a module called Social Media Marketing and that I would want to offer help to the company, she straight away said that she is not interested and hung up the phone.

I gathered my teammates to discuss of their company status
turns out three out of five of my group mates had the companies approval and and unfortunately the other two are still awaiting the company's approval.Hence, without further hesitation for the rest we decided upon choosing the company. During our discussion we finally chose a company named the IT trend.

I  buy my IT stuff from an export company named I.T TREND for many years. I.T TREND have been doing importing laptops and exporting  laptop, taking in old laptops as well as selling laptops aboard as well as locally.  I became very close friends with the boss of the company because of our common interest in the trend of the IT market. I approached the boss of the company I.T TREND last week and  propose him with our Social Media Marketing (SMM) project. He agreed immediately and supported this project.

I chose Lucinda Bakery Mart in rochor centre cause i find their pastry taste not bad. I notice that they don't have facebook. So i decided to give a shot whether they will accept me or not send them through 
e-mail.

My mum company provides renovation and construction services. I decided to approach my mum to help her using social media marketing to let more people know about her company . Since there are a huge mass of people in Singapore that use social media everyday . I think this will help her company .


Since there are no harm trying ,she decided to collaborate with us. I thanked and told her that we will call her agian after discussing with my group.

I have a uncle who started on a paintball business early this year known as the School Of Paintball located at jurong west street 25. I took this opportunnity to make a phone call to him upon collaborating with us. During the conversation i proposed the idea of promoting his business through the web(facebook,twitter,blogs etc) and also what skills i have learnt through SMM module will be used to help his business.
And since there is nothing to lose, he agreed immediately on collaborating with my group.

I thanked him and told him that i would discuss with my group again and would sent him our proposal letter if his business is used for this project.
